Job Description

Candidates will be performing the first assembly of high-end office furniture. Job duties include using various hand and power tools to build and assemble wood products. Candidates must be able to operate table saws, band saws, miter saws, hand and power tools, and read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform the first assembly of high-end office furniture.

• Use various hand and power tools to build and assemble wood products.

• Operate table saws, band saws, miter saws, and other hand and power tools.

• Read and interpret blueprints for assembly instructions.

Essential Skills

• Carpentry

• Woodworking

• Cabinet making

• Table saw operation

• Finish carpentry

• Millwork

• Reading and interpreting blueprints

• Using hand and power tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ months of manufacturing, general labor, farming, or construction experience

• 6+ months of machine operation is preferred

• Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints

Work Environment

Newly built Milling department with great ventilation and lighting. New equipment and tools. Very organized manufacturing process. Dress Code: Steel-toed boots required, safety glasses and hearing protection provided, can wear jeans or shorts during summer. Hours: 1st shift - 6am - 3:30pm M-F.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stewartville, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00
