Position Title: Senior Controls Engineer

*Position Duties: *Develop deep knowledge and skills in automated equipment engineering and manufacturing for JR Automation and per customer specifications. Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform senior control engineering tasks or sequences for conventional projects with complex features. Design, implement and document control systems for various types of automated equipment. Conduct the electrical and hydraulic pneumatic design, peripheral device programming, and machine PLC programming. Coordinate the machine debug, power-up, and machine validation with the appropriate build and electrical teams. Determine adaptations in methods for non-routine aspects of engineering assignments. Facilitate project schedules or portions of larger projects for small teams of technical engineers. Review the technical output of technical engineers. Travel to customer sites for installation and startup of equipment.

Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. Work from home up to 30% of time allowed.
