The Guest Service Agent will be the first point of contact for our guests and clients at our hotel. This is a part-time non-exempt position to work weekends. Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests
• Maintain room availability
• Collect and distribute messages for guests
• Prepare bill and collect payments for visits.
• Assists in solving billing discrepancies.
• Confirm reservations.
• Process check ins/outs.
• Answer/process all guest calls/request in timely fashion.
• Run daily reports.
• Count and verify bank.
• Coordinate rooms for check in with housekeeping.
• Answers inquiries regarding hotel area and services.
• Educates guests about the layout of the property.
• Offers to make reservations for Knoxie's Table and/or The Spa.
• Informs guests of any special events that may be happening during their stay and offers to make reservations.
• Secures the privacy of the guests.
• Maintains a clean and tidy front desk/lobby area.
• Arranges for transportation.
• Maintain hotel records.

Compensation:

Hourly part-time $16.00 - $18.00 an hour.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computer phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role, however, would require the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, open file cabinets, bend, stand and climb steps as necessary.
