JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 21563 Position Title: Upward Bound Social Science Instructor- Temporary TTC Title and Code: Ad Hoc Program Specialist (OT002) FTE: 100% Principal Work Location: UW-Stevens Point Main Campus Supervisor: Director-Upward Bound Program Position Summary This is a temporary six-week summer teaching position for high school students in the Upward Bound Program. The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point has hosted the Upward Bound Program for over 50 years. It is a high school college-prep program and part of the Federal TRIO Grant Programs funded by the U.S. Department of Education. All participants are either first-generation (i.e. parents do not have a 4-year degree) and/or low-income students, grades nine through twelve. The Upward Bound Program hosts student-participants from six target high schools in five counties from Central and Northcentral Wisconsin. Background checks are performed on all applicants interviewed. Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-4pm Hours vary based in course offerings Anticipated Appointment Date: June 12, 2025 TO ENSURE CONSIDERATION: Applications received by 02/09/2025 are ensured full consideration.
