JOB REQUIREMENTS: CAP Services, Inc. is a private non-profit corporation serving central Wisconsin for over 50 years. CAP Services in Stevens Point, WI is looking for a part-time Shelter Advocate to meet the immediate needs of callers on a 24-hour crisis and information hotline and walk-in visitors presenting for a variety of concerns including mental health, family dysfunction, domestic abuse and sexual assault. The position also meets the needs of domestic violence victims and their children as well as youth-in-crisis who are receiving emergency shelter services at the Family Crisis Center. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: *BS/BA in psychology, social work, human services or related degree & One year of relatable work or work considered preparatory, leading to a working knowledge of crisis intervention/youth/domestic violence/sexual assault services. OR *Associates Degree in related field and three years of the same work or work considered preparatory, leading to a working knowledge of crisis intervention/youth/domestic violence/sexual assault services.
