Nightwing Software Engineer - Full Stack in Sterling, Virginia

Nightwing is seeking a software developer to perform will provide full-lifecycle application development, designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages software development. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a complex environment.
TS/SCI with Polygraph required Day 1

Developer with Angular, Spring Boot, and Java skills
Experience working in an agile environment with their development team
Experience developing and utilizing application programming interfaces
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Adheres to established coding standards and practices and can peer-review for others
Understanding of DevOps
Understands the continuous integration and continuous deployment lifecycle
Understanding of microservices and why you would want to use them
Understands accessibility standards and how to implement them
Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
Proficiency with GitHub
Proficiency with Jenkins
Familiar with JIRA
Familiar with AWS Lambda
Proficient in Python
Knowledge of continuous integration - continuous delivery methodologies
Experience using container-based solutions, such as Kubernetes.
