Nightwing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls and Applications Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of control systems and software applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create robust and scalable solutions for industrial, manufacturing, or automated systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in software development, system integration, and control system design to deliver high-quality solutions that meet organizational and client needs.

Required Skills:

Expertise in designing, programming, and deploying control systems using PLCs, SCADA, and HMI platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Wonderware).

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Java, or other relevant languages.

Experience with control algorithms, real-time systems, and system modeling.

Proficiency in configuring and maintaining industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues.

Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control and documentation.

Experience with system integration and validation in industrial environments.

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies, including data acquisition and cloud integration.

Proficiency in DevOps practices for automated testing and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).

Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence applications in control systems.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles in industrial control systems.

Project management skills and experience leading cross-functional development teams.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Advanced degrees are a plus.

Minimum of 8–10 years of professional experience in control systems and applications development, with a focus on senior-level or leadership roles.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly
