What You'll Contribute

The Business Transformation Team within the COO Command Center is dedicated to the alignment and oversight of critical business programs and projects. As a Sr. Manager, Business Transformation, an individual will play a pivotal role in coordinating key stakeholders, ensuring efficient project planning and management of project routines, planning, and output.

In this role, the individual will serve as a leader for multiple initiatives that include various stakeholders. Key responsibilities will encompass project planning, roadmap development, project plan formulation, performance oversight, and risk mitigation. Clear communication, both written and verbal, is essential to ensuring effective stakeholder messaging, project reporting, and executive presentations. The right candidate will be organized, enjoy multi-tasking, thrive in a fast paced, ever evolving environment and have the ability to translate business requirements into tangible roadmap and delivery plans.

What You'll Do

  • Effectively lead project management efforts for strategic initiatives in line with the Business Transformation interaction model, developing roadmaps and timelines, planning delivery, driving progress with key stakeholders. Proactively identify and mitigate or raise risks, as appropriate.

  • Lead initiative performance reporting and progress communication, including status reports for 360 stakeholders to ensure visibility and alignment by all.

  • Collaborate with team members to maturethe structure and value of the Business Transformation office. Actively give feedback, propose new ideas, create templates and routines that foster a team-oriented, success driven, and effective environment.

  • Assess project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues that may impact project timelines, scope, or budget.

  • Continueprofessional education, including in the project management space, storytelling and presentation capabilities, and leadership skills abilities that will enhance the team.

What you have

Minimum education, skills and experience required.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience

5 + years’ experience in a Project Management role leading projects

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent c ommunication s kills

Collaborative mindset

Office 365 tool proficiency

Microsoft Teams proficiency

Strategic mindset to envision the future and translate into tangible plans

Adaptability within a fast-paced environment

Preferred education, skills, and experience.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant business certifications

  • Experience in and/or knowledge of student lending or financial services
