ManpowerGroup Maintenance Facilities Technician in Sterling, Virginia

Our client, a high profile leader in Data Center Web Services is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Facilities/Maintenance Engineer you will be part of the facilities team supporting electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance at their location in Sterling, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical or mechanical troubleshooting and a strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Sterling, VA

Pay Range: $37.23/HR on Experis W2

*NIGHT SHIFT*

What’s the Job?

  • Operate and manage both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.

  • Inspect mechanical and electrical issues and problem solve

  • Troubleshooting

  • Will work with a ticketing system, maintenance tracking, etc.

What’s Needed?

  • Top requirements: Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and components, strong work ethic, competency with computer systems (outlook, MS Office Suite, etc.)

  • At least 1 year mechanical, electrical, or critical facility experience (ex. hospital) or Degree and 0-2 years of experience.

  • Ideal candidates have experience as a Navy Nuclear Technician, electrician, mechanic, etc.
