Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to lead and grow our staffing and recruitment business in both the commercial and government sectors. This role is responsible for new business development, account management, and successfully managing all aspects of the sales cycle, from initial client contact to contract negotiation and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in staffing, recruitment, and business development, with a focus on government and commercial proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development & Sales:

  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within commercial and government sectors.

  3. Develop a robust sales pipeline

  4. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned targets and growth goals.

  5. Conduct cold calls, client visits, and participate in networking events to drive new business development.

  6. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in target accounts.

  7. Collaborate with the proposal development team on RFP responses for government and commercial bids.

  8. Client & Account Management:

  9. Serve as the primary point of contact for key national accounts, managing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.

  10. Lead weekly sales client meetings to review account status, address concerns, and discuss future opportunities.

  11. Collaborate with internal teams (recruitment, finance, operations) to deliver high-quality staffing solutions aligned with client needs.

  12. Sales Performance & Reporting:

  13. Achieve weekly sales call goals, ensuring consistent outreach and engagement with potential clients.

  14. Develop and maintain Salesforce pipelines, tracking opportunities from lead generation to closure.

  15. Contract Negotiation & Compliance:

  16. Negotiate contracts, create teaming agreements, and establish terms for services with both commercial and government clients.

  17. Teaming Agreements & Strategic Partnerships:

  18. Identify and cultivate partnerships with potential teaming partners for government and commercial proposals.

  19. Develop teaming agreements and ensure proper collaboration between partners for large-scale proposals.

  20. Networking & Industry Engagement:

  21. Attend and participate in industry networking events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and expand business relationships.

  22. Keep up to date with market trends, industry challenges, and legislative changes that may affect the staffing and recruitment landscape.

  23. Requirements:

• Proven track record of success in staffing, recruitment, or related sales/account management roles.

• Experience managing national accounts in both commercial and government sectors.

• Strong understanding of government contracting, proposals, and teaming agreements.

• Proficiency in CRM software, especially Salesforce.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend networking events.

Performance Metrics:

• Achievement of weekly sales call goals.

• Meeting or exceeding Salesforce pipeline goals.

• Client satisfaction and retention rates.

• New business development and revenue growth.

• Successful management of contract negotiations and teaming agreements.

Position Details:

  • Pay Rate / Range: $50,000 The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
