Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Systems Architect to support a federal client based out of Warren, MI. This is an opportunity to join the fast-paced world of engineering next generation combat vehicles. In this role, you will get exposure/support areas of manned & unmanned ground vehicles, robotics, vehicle electronics, and ground vehicle simulation. This role will require a secret clearance and Insight Global will process the ideal candidate for an interim clearance!

Responsibilities Include:

 Helping system engineers know what to model and how to model

 Defining system attributes

Pay range for this role is $55 - 85/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 12 years of experience.

 Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance.

 Demonstrated experience with military electronics systems, subsystem and system-level testing, and integration

 Experience developing and executing system-level project plans.

 Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM Rational Doors.

 Familiarity in Model Based Systems Engineering such as SysML UML, DoDAF, and UPDM.

 Experience with Deterministic and Non-Deterministic Data Bus Architectures, i.e., CAN Bus, Ethernet, etc.

 Ability to perform Functional Decomposition to develop new architectures.

 Integrate and develop data networks that cross multiple layers of information security (Classified/Unclassifed).

 Proficient in communicating with high level stakeholders Process development and improvement management (CMMI).

 Knowledge of legacy military hardware and software systems.

 Familiarity with Time Sensitive Network. null
