ManpowerGroup Rolling Machine Technician in Sterling Heights, Michigan

Our client in Sterling Heights is looking for an experienced Rolling Machine Tech for a 1st shift position. The candidate must have at least one year of recent coiled steel processing experience. Pay range of $24-30/hour.

The Rolling Mill Machine Tech is responsible for assisting the Rolling Mill Machine Operator in set-up and completion of the steel processes on machine.

Assist the machine operator in operations on machine and/or repetitive machine operation duties.

Identify and stage coils for processing per machine schedule in computer to ensure maximum efficiency.

Setup machine by installing proper intermediate and work rolls per the incoming coil’s width.

Position work pieces to be processed securely on machine.

Mark/tag identification on material after processing. Update computer system with appropriate data for the exact specifications.
