This position is for a Linux System Administrator, Mid with a company location in Stennis Space Center, MS.

Summary: As a Systems Administrator on our project, you'll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available, constantly look for ways to improve infrastructure using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies, and secure critical systems. You'll help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in supporting DoD and Navy operations as well as technical support to systems that support scientific and afloat missions. Requirements and Qualifications Include: 2+ years of experience with administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Linux-based workstations and enterprise IT servers and systems. Experience with workstation computer operating system and application loads and configuration. Experience with managing or modifying Linux OS scripting, such as Bash scripts. Experience with management of middleware applications such as Apache, JBoss, Elastic Stack. Experience updating system and middleware configurations in accordance with quarterly DISA STIG requirement updates. Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Server deployments in either Linux or Windows environments. Secret clearance. HS diploma or GED. DoD 8140 CSWF Compliant Certification, such as GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, SCNP, or SSCP Certification.
