Position Overview

Our assisted living community is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team part-time for up to 16 hours per week. In this role, you'll be the heartbeat of our administrative operations, directly contributing to the purposeful living of our cherished residents. Here's how:
Your meticulous billing work ensures our residents' financial matters are handled with care, allowing them to focus on enjoying life.
By managing LTC insurance paperwork, you're safeguarding our residents' peace of mind about their long-term care.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’ degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Basic accounting knowledge and experience with financial transactions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with customer service and professional interaction with clients/residents
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers, fax machines)
Adaptability to learn new software systems quickly
Discretion when handling confidential information
Ability to work independently
Enthusiastic, supportive and proactive
Ability to read and speak English
