Job Title: ArboristJob Description

Join Arcadis N.V. on an impactful Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) project with the Parks Department, dedicated to assessing and treating trees threatened by pests in NYC. This role involves daily inspection and construction oversight on project sites, including contractor management for various treatments and emergency responses. You will be responsible for meticulous daily reporting using the city FORMS System and ensuring all aspects of the project, from block pruning to stump inspections, are conducted to the highest standards. The role is full-time until October, slows down in winter, and picks up again in March, aligning with typical arborist seasonal work patterns.

Hard Skills

  • 1+ year experience in tree maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment of tree pests and diseases

  • Pruning

  • Construction oversight experience

  • Proficient in using city FORMS System

Soft Skills

  • Great communication

  • Strong writing skills

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 2 Year(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in New York, New York.

Work Environment

100 percent field based, traveling between 20-40 sites per day. MUST HAVE THEIR OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE.
