Genesis10 is seeking a Finance Manager for a contract with our client in Staten Island, NY. 10% Remote.

Job Description:
This role will report to Finance Director and will be someone that is able to compliment our finance director. The new finance director has a great background in accounting but he doesn't have a good amount of experience in budgets and cost accounting for hospitals. They were thinking to create that role that would fill that gap for him. They would be reporting to him. Help him with those items and some other analytics on the side. Once he has the job description he will share with us.



Required Basic Qualifications:

• For cost accounting if have Strata exp. that would be great. He would love to have that with hospital exp but at the same time he knows Business objects is what eventually switched to that. It is just a tool and can easily learn it. Would be ideal if they could do all but if not and they have another cost account tool so they can jump in , they would at least have that good understanding and can learn the Strata tool. We want to be flexible as we know we won't get that perfect match. Salary he is unsure yet as it is a new role and hasn't put all the details together yet. Once the salary survey is completed then he will keep us posted. Market range most likely. Other tools similar to Strata are Net suite, Oracle or equivalent. MUST have that hospital background. He doesn't want a person who has been a user of Strata. Need to screen if they can create those reports etc. vs just pulling things from it. Drill down with them "how". Fixing variable cost ( direct and indirect costs and how are created and how they work and how to make changes), allocation tables looked into and that they are heading in the right direction and how those things work to make updates for example- that is important!
• From a budgeting perspective, needs someone that has built the budget for the entire hospital not just one department. Also, they have the following entities that budgets are going to need to be developed: Physician Network, ACO, and Foundations. Be able to look at those entities and identify what those drivers are for those service lines or areas as each may have a different one. "overall" budget experience. Must be able to create the consolidated budgets from all the departments etc.
• Any experience with Performa analysis - they will do new performas for new service lines, new acquisition, providers/physicians etc., service line, profitability analysis.

Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
