Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Current State of Utah Driver's License

Current Firefighter I cert (for part-time positions)

Current Firefighter II cert (for full-time positions)

Current Hazmat Awareness/Operations Certification

Current State of Utah EMT license

NIMS 100, 200, and 700

Preference Given For:

State of Utah AEMT or Paramedic

Utah Wildland I and NWCG Redcard

NWCG Engine Boss

ADO-P certification

General Description:

Respond to emergency calls and perform firefighting and basic life support procedures. Responsible for maintenance and repairs of all equipment, vehicles, and buildings in the NTFD.

The starting date for this position is negotiable based on the applicant's availability.

There are multiple positions available including full-time and part-time.
