Description:

The Medical Assistant will be working within the Women's Cancer center seeing an average of 30 patients a day. Their job duties will consist of rooming patients, verifying insurance, scheduling follow up appointments, and assisting physicians prepare for procedures or appointments. Knowledge of the OBGYN filed is a plus but not required for this role. Must be able to communicate with patients clearly and record health information within the hospitals electronic health system, EPIC.

• BLS certification - MUST BE from AHA

• 1 year of experience
