Description

Our company is looking for a Part-Time Accountant who is eager to return to the workforce or is semi-retired and seeking to supplement their income. This role will require approximately 20 hours of work per week.

The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge and understanding of GAAP Accounting and has considerable experience with General Ledger functions, with a substantial emphasis on expense processing, accounts payable, and purchasing.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance with financial accounting principles, including GAAP.

• Undertaking general ledger duties and managing accounts payable.

• Processing business expenses accurately and effectively.

• Supervising company purchasing to ensure accurate accounting.

• Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels to guarantee transparent and seamless operations.

• Demonstrating initiative and working independently to fulfill job responsibilities.

• Assisting with monthly and quarterly reports, year-end process, and other required financial documentation.

Requirements

• In-depth experience in GAAP accounting.

• Familiarity with General Ledger, especially focusing on expense processing, accounts payable, and purchasing.
