Kimley-Horn GIS Coordinator in St. Petersburg, Florida

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for a GIS Analyst to support our Civil Engineering practice in our St. Petersburg, Florida (FL) office!

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex analytical tabular and spatial queries.

  • Design, create and print graphic representations of the data as maps.

  • Perform research and analyze data from various data sources.

  • Create interactive Esri ArcGIS web-based applications.

  • Demonstrated ability and desire to provide data-driven solutions.

  • Excellent communication to identify, seek and promote geospatial thinking.

  • Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic.

  • Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines.

  • Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment.

  • Passion and demonstrated drive to identify and achieve goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in GIS, Geography, related field, or applicable work experience of 1-2 years of experience with GIS specifically, ESRI ArcGIS.

  • Experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro.

  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and/or ArcGIS Online.

  • Knowledge of general database management and schema creation.

  • Experience with geoprocessing tools to analyze and manipulate data.

  • Experience using spatial and tabular databases.

  • Exposure to Utilities, Asset Management or Planning.

  • Exposure to Python or Arcade.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs specifically, Excel.
