Registrar Registrar Description Job Summary: The Registrar provides strategic leadership in the Office of the Registrar, serving the campus through stewardship of student academic records, academic policies and procedures, curriculum records, course and academic space scheduling, transcripts, enrollment verifications, commencement, degree audits, and course registration. The Registrar ensures the accuracy, integrity, and privacy of student academic data and serves as a campus leader for FERPA-related matters. The Registrar is a highly-collaborative campus leader, supporting a staff toward continuous improvement of systems and services and clearly communicating academic policies and processes. The Registrar serves on a variety of faculty and campus-wide committees, contributing to and informing the development of policies, ensuring accuracy in practices and compliance with regulatory agencies. Employment Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE), Benefits-Eligible, Exempt (Salaried) Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000 (dependent upon experience and qualifications) Anticipated start date will be in early June 2025 (a later start date may be possible depending upon the needs of the College and the successful applicant). MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership on academic policy, calendar, and curriculum including general education, graduation requirements, and major requirements Direct the following activities: building of new and revised academic programs within Ellucian/Colleague entry of academic year course scheduling into the Ellucian/Colleague system, assignment of classroom space, and coordination of course registration process preparation and distribution of course and final exam schedules preparation of official enrollment reports articulation of FERPA regulations to the campus community, including facilitation of regular trainings auditing degree programs to verify completion of graduation requirements and posting of official degrees for students process for making transcripts available to students and graduates designation of student academic achievement and sanctions, including directing the biannual academic standing process preparation and distribution of the online academic catalog determination of athletic eligibility review of transfer credit, following faculty policy and in consultation with Admission and Academic Deans and/or Provost. Facilitate the academic petitions process in collaboration with the faculty Adjudication Committee Oversee policies and procedures related to access, privacy, and security of student information, especially with regard to legal compliance Collaborate with Technology Services on updates and modifications to the Ellucian/Colleague system and other technology advances Cross-divisional collaboration toward student success efforts, including Admission, the Academic Support Center, the Provost's Office and Financial Aid Develop and oversee the departmental budget Lead and support continuous improvement, openness to change, transparency, and professional development among office staff
