Assessment Psychologists may be eligible for a hiring bonus of up to $2,500!!

Behavioral Medicine Practitioners may be eligible for a hiring bonus of up to $7,500!!

This position is being posted simultaneously at the Psychologist 3 and Behavioral Medicine Practitioner levels. The level in which the position is filled will be based on the qualifications of the applicant who is selected for the position.

* Candidates hired as a Psychologist 3 may be eligible for promotion to Behavioral Medicine Practitioner after attaining sufficient post-licensure experience*

The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a residential, sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides services to over 700 individuals who have been civilly committed for sexual offending. MSOP is a national leader in the industry and is committed to providing services on the leading edge of the comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of clients. MSOP has facilities in Moose Lake and St. Peter, MN. MSOP St. Peter site serves clients in the middle stages of treatment and clients with compromised executive functioning in a secure setting.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Providing expertise in sex offense specific treatment, assessment, and research as a crucial member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team

• Conducting integrated psychological assessments to address a range of referral questions, including those related to psychosexual, mental health, personality, and/or cognitive/neuropsychological functioning as well as other treatment concerns as clinically indicated

• Presenting information regarding psychological assessment results, treatment progress, and other pertinent clinical data to multi-disciplinary team members

• Assessing clients in crisis related to self-injurious behaviors and/or suicidality

• Providing leadership and clinical direction to other psychologists, psychology interns, clinical staff, and multidisciplinary team members

Minimum Qualifications

• Psychologist 3

• Ph.D., or Psy.D. in psychology*; AND

• Licensure as a psychologist (LP) by the Minnesota Board of Psychology or License Eligible **

• Note: Candidates working toward an applicable degree may apply for a contingent offer based on anticipated graduation/degree conferral

**Note: Doctoral level graduates working towards licensure may be hired on a provisional basis and receive supervision under a licensed MSOP Psychologist to obtain licensure

• Behavioral Medicine Practitioner

• Ph.D., or Psy.D. in psychology; AND

• Licensure as a psychologist (LP) by the Minnesota Board of Psychology; AND

• One year of post-license experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessments

• Ability to complete integrated reports to address a range of referral questions related to cognitive, personality, mental health, and psychosexual functioning

• Experiencein deliveringmentalhealth and/or sexoffensespecifictreatmentin asecureand/orresidentialsetting.
