Lutheran Social Service of MN Volunteer Services Specialist in St. Paul, Minnesota
Description The Volunteer Services Specialist will coordinate the day-to-day operations of LSS Volunteer Services program. This position will answer and filter general questions about the volunteer program and maintain daily operational functions in conjunction with Volunteer Services Program Manager. This position will oversee volunteer LSS data reporting records and communications. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree Two or more years of experience in volunteerism, events, project management, or related field Volunteer management and coordination, project management, marketing and communications, and computer skills Experience in coordinating and collaborating between diverse constituencies Collaborative work style and ability to interact with staff at all levels of the organization Experience or comfortably able to work with faith communities and churches Valid driver's license Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours Ability to travel to LSS service sites and/or community partner sites throughout Minnesota Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is a dynamic social service organization serving children, youth and families, people with disabilities, older adults, and military veterans.
