Reporting to the Deputy Director of Veterans Benefits, as a Veterans IT Systems Product Owner (VITSPO) at the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, you'll be the driving force behind the strategic vision, roadmap, and budget of multiple product lines. Your role goes beyond leadership; it's about pioneering a future where technology and service seamlessly converge to enhance the lives of Veterans and their families. Minimum Qualifications

To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume/application clearly describes your experience in the areas listed below and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held. Three (3) years of Information technology or related experience which demonstrates the following:

· Product management, such as developing, launching, and managing successful IT products or services.

· Stakeholder engagement and relationship management, such as strong communication skills sufficient to align product vision with business objectives and customer needs,

· Strategic planning and execution, such as creating a vision, road mapping, and budget/resource stewardship.

AND

· Knowledge of IT security principles and practices, such as auditing system access and managing permissions to ensure data integrity and compliance.

· Skill in developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with managing, developing, or implementing Salesforce products

· Experience with Tableau or PowerBI

· Experience with Agile or Scrum

· Experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager for IT Projects

· Experience working with Veterans Programs, such as Discharge Access Database System (DADS), Veteran Application Tracking System (VATS), and Defense Personnel Records Information System (DPRIS)
