This position exists to provide grant administrative services for the Opioid Response Team to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the unit, thereby enabling grant managers to focus on the fulfillment of request for proposal, grant, and contract responsibilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert regarding administrative aspects of grant and contract process, including compiling, reviewing, and maintaining program records.

  • Assist with the organization of Opioid Epidemic Response Advisory Council (OERAC) meetings and perform administrative duties before, during and after the meetings.

  • Providing miscellaneous administrative support to team members.

Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience in administrative support roles.

Experience must clearly demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of grant and contract management processes.

  • Experience with electronic systems for managing, tracking, and reviewing documents.

  • Proficiency in using and navigating multiple screens and accessing databases.

  • Skilled in document management, including the collection, compilation, and tracking of incoming documents.

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and MS Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong customer service and organizational skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders to address inquiries and facilitate meetings.

  • Proficient in taking meeting minutes.

  • Familiarity with Fondant Grant Lifecycle Manager.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to maintain composure during challenging situations.

  • Knowledge of state opioid programs.

  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders and fostering positive relationships.

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
