Regions Hospital Speech Pathologist - Clinical Fellow in St. Paul, Minnesota

This Speech Pathology Clinical Fellow position will serve adult patients admitted to our acute care units as well as our 21-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility. Our Rehabilitation Center maintains CARF specialty accreditation in stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury care--meaning that we hold ourselves to high standards of care and provide ongoing training and personal development of clinical skills in these areas and in our rehab technology to support patient recovery. Previous graduate school clinical experience in a hospital is required. We work collaboratively as a interdisciplinary team so strong problem solving and communication skills are needed. This is a part time position that covers 2 weekends a month as well as alternating Fridays. There are frequent opportunities to pick up additional shifts/hours. There is also a holiday rotation requirement. This is a 1-year position that will conclude July 2025. We provide a thorough on-boarding process to all new hires and will provide mentorship in accordance with ASHA guidelines for this clinical fellowship year. Work Schedule: Week 1 of pay period: Friday, Saturday Week 2 of pay period: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (2 weekends each month and alternating Fridays) Hours will be 8a-4:30p Yearly holiday rotation Will cover for a maternity leave September-November, hours will be Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p Required Qualifications: Master's or doctoral degree in speech pathology from an accredited institution. Necessary completion of requirements to initiate a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (AHSA) Temporary SLP license from MN Department of Health. CPR Certification (Basic Life Support) Preferred Qualifications: Student clinical rotation in adult hospital or medical setting.
