This position offers a hybrid work schedule which includes telework days and in office days at a DLI office building.

This position provides clerical support to the Reimbursement Team in the litigation and administration of supplementary benefit and second injury claims. The incumbent is responsible for:

  • reviewing and accepting or rejecting the Annual Claim submissions as incoming webforms.

  • corresponding with senders to resolve problems.

  • creating files in Campus as new litigation is received.

  • providing assistance in filing legal documents in C-Track.

  • managing the Litigation Notices by uploading documents to the appropriate file.

  • tasking the document to the correct claims manager (CM) and/or Office of General Council.

  • calendaring litigation events.

  • assisting other Special Compensation Fund (SCF) members as needed.

  • ensuring that non-imaged documents and other media are securely stored and organized so that the items can be retrieved easily.

  • entering awards, dismissals, and settlement agreements for the Reimbursement team into Campus along with litigation event information.

  • coordinating the monthly mailing by scheduling a room, time and sending notice to SCF staff.

Minimum Qualifications

· Skill in data entry sufficient to receive and review source documents, compare documents to database information, and edit documents.

· Skill in Database management sufficient to enter and retrieve data.

· Skill in document and records management sufficient to maintain electronic or paper files for efficient organization and retrieval of information.

· Customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous, and accurate information to a variety of customers over the phone, in person and through email and other written or electronic correspondence.

· Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner to both internal and external customers.

Preferred Qualifications

· Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who may not share your same culture, ethnicity, language, or common experiences.

· Ability to effectively intervene to prevent and respond to stakeholders in crisis.

· Experience with CAMPUS system.

· Language skills other than English (such as Somali, Spanish, Hmong, Karen or ASL).
