GENERAL FUNCTION:

Perform the general coordination duties of the Other Training Program (OTP) Health Care program and the Job Corps Center, including student instruction and monitoring of students' progress.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinates programming and student enrollment with the college partnerships.

• Makes contacts and develops linkages and partnerships with community organizations, businesses, schools, colleges, and volunteers for the vocational and academic department.

• Coordinates with the Career Technical Training Manager on student enrollment into the program.

• Coordinates travel arrangements of students enrolled in the OTP Program.

• Monitors students' progress in the OTP program and identifies problems and provides support and corrective action leading to problem solving.

• Performs instruction and tutoring in the classroom related to the certified nursing

program, including certifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as health care administration, public health, or a related discipline is often required.

OR

An associate degree and four years of experience in a relevant field such as health care administration, public health or a related discipline is required.
