University of St. Thomas Clinical Track Professor - School of Nursing in St. Paul, Minnesota
OVERVIEW
The Susan S. Morrison School of Nursing (SON) in the Morrison Family College of Health at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, invites applicants for a 9-month clinical track professor position. Clinical track faculty are full-time employees with teaching, advising, service, and other program-specific responsibilities outlined at the time of appointment. We seek applicants who are committed to teaching excellence, both within a traditional BSN and accelerated pre-licensure MSN program. The successful applicant will teach a range of pre-licensure nursing courses, with preference given to those with content expertise in the following areas: Psychiatric Nursing, Maternal Child Nursing, and Complex Nursing Care (Medical-Surgical). Our ideal clinical track faculty candidate will also extend their clinical or teaching expertise by supporting student learning outcomes through a specialty engagement in the school of nursing. In addition, faculty provide academic advising to students and participate in service activities in the school, college, and university. We seek candidates committed to fostering inclusive learning environments, interested in working as part of an interprofessional college team, willing to develop and modify nursing curricula to support student outcomes, and eager to engage with students.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in nursing.
Must be eligible for RN licensure in the state of Minnesota.
Three years of experience in nursing practice.
Evidence of teaching effectiveness in a higher education setting or clinical practice.
Desired Qualifications:
Maternal Child, Psychiatric Mental Health, Medical-Surgical or simulation nursing experience.
Completion of advanced Pathophysiology and Pharmacology courses in an MSN, doctoral education program, or holds a nursing certification in clinical specialty area.
A doctoral degree in Nursing or a closely related field. A PhD (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent), or EdD. PhD in an area unrelated to Nursing is acceptable if the candidate holds a bachelor's or master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Nursing.
Salary and Benefits:
The University of St. Thomas offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits program, which includes:
Up to 100% tuition remission for employees and dependents upon eligibility.
Up to 50% tuition remission for spouses upon eligibility.
A generous employer retirement contribution of 9.4% of annual salary upon eligibility

Salary Range: $74,330 to $96,820
The University of St. Thomas has provided a salary range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The specific salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.
