SCHEDULE: 8pm - 6am Thursday - Sunday

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Troubleshoot equipment which includes both electrical and mechanical systems

· Perform and assist in repair or updating and installation of equipment

· Work closely with production to minimize downtime while maintaining high quality

· Monitor efficiencies of aseptic area packing and processing equipment

· Ensure proper preventative maintenance structure is in place and being followed

· Initiate corrective actions and implement solutions to productivity performance issues

· Assist area maintenance mechanics with preventive and breakdown maintenance of filling lines and processing equipment as needed

· Provide individualized training to maintenance and operations staff as required

· Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

· Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

· Able to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP)

· Able to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work

· Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

· Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information

· Able to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; able to complete simple checklists and complete required documentation

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment

· Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

· Able to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience

· Able to adapt and manage to change effectively

· Able to perform complex or complicated maintenance activities/repairs independently

· Able to work effectively in a team environment

· Able to diagnose and take appropriate steps to find solutions to problems

· Must be able to read, write and speak English
