This position will be handling hardware troubleshooting and remediation, policy and best practice identification and implementation, hardware documentation and training, hardware staging, handouts, and installs, assistance with Tech101 computer staging, and supporting the IT Helpdesk as needed. Position Functions and Responsibilities PC Build / Repair - Installing desktop hardware, software and peripherals as needed Identify opportunities for process improvement, make formalized proposals, and engage in training and implementation Research and make recommendations on hardware standards (e.g. new phone or laptop models) Resolve tickets according to SLAs Prioritize and drive hardware escalations to resolution Accurately maintain tickets in a timely manner Deploy, maintain, and repair technology equipment (Win, Mac, IOS and Android based) Create and update documentation for all work aspects Perform helpdesk tasks and assist employees with any IT related issues related to hardware Image machines and handle device accounts in AD Complete warranty work on damaged equipment Ensure asset inventory records are updated in relation to ticket resolution Coordinate shipping/handling of hardware Provide hardware related customer service and troubleshooting support Manage building tech inventory and follow technology standards and practices. Aid IT Services Manager with various projects or tasks. Assist with hardware disposal Qualifications: (an ideal candidate will have...) A+ Certification (or willingness to learn) Technical support: 1 years (Preferred) At least 1 year of corporate hardware and asset management Ability to independently prioritize and execute tasks according to SLA Ability to effectively prioritize escalations and daily workload Ability to problem solve technology related issues.
