The Director of Supply Chain Technologies has a key role in the overall Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) group. This role has overall accountability for building and leading a world-class ISC Technology Strategy that is focused on optimizing the cost, velocity, and reliability of our end-to-end value chains, from supplier to factory to customer in a diverse, multi-site discrete manufacturing environment through the enablement of a digitally connected integrated supply chain in a discrete, The leader is a subject matter expert in both the current ISC best practices and emerging technologies and platforms in this space, including SIOP, advanced planning & capacity optimizing tools, Manufacturing Execution, Quality Management, IoT/Connected Factory, Warehouse & Transportation Planning systems. This leader is a core member of the Digital Leadership Team, working in close partnership with other Digital Leaders and key ISC stakeholders. The role is working across our segments taking a ONE nVent approach to deliver sustainable value through seamless and standardized digital capabilities across the full value chain. You will be working with Digital & Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Leadership on highly strategic, top-priority initiatives, leveraging data and state-of-the-art technology to design and implement significant change. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Work with digital and business leadership to develop a prioritized technology roadmap in alignment with our ISC digital strategy. Develop technical standards and conceptual architecture design leveraging our core ERP ecosystems, Cloud, IoT, robotic process automation, AI/Machine Learning, and advanced data/analytics to enable a phased, agile implementation approach. Develop teams, structure, and organizational change management plans, and lead execution teams in incremental delivery of solutions to drive value quickly and in alignment with an overall roadmap and ISC strategy. Build the talent and digital capability within ISC to lead across these emerging spaces. Work in partnership with key ISC stakeholders to develop business cases and prioritize the relevant investment portfolio. Share accountability with stakeholders to measure outcomes to ensure maximum value realized from existing and new investments. Partner with the Digital organization to ensure the operation of our ISC digital platforms is stable, compliant, secure, and predictable and demonstrate continuous improvement in the associated operational metrics, capabilities, and processes. Maintain a strong leadership presence across various digital councils, demonstrating thought leadership and educating/coaching ISC leaders on areas of opportunity while driving a positive mindset and the further adoption of new digital solutions. Actively participate as part of the Senior Leadership Network to contribute to the development of the overall strategy and assume personal accountability for the execution of all relevant aspects of the strategy within the Digital ISC team. Develop a visible and authentic external presence and strong internal networks to recruit highly skilled and diverse talent, stay current with industry trends, and establish effective vendor partnerships. Maintain a specific focus on their own personal development, maintain a development plan, and regularly update their skillsets through an active commitment to lifelong learning. YOU HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Technology, Engineering, or Math. 10+ years of experience in one or more functions within ISC - Forecast/Plan, Sourcing/Buying, Manufacturing, and Logistics. Deep functional and/or technical knowledge of planning and manufacturing systems such as SIOP, Advanced Planning, Capacity Optimization, Manufacturing Execution, Warehouse, and Transportation Management Systems, and ability to architecture the systems landscape Comprehensive understanding of the SIOP process. Experience within a product company to run digital transformation in ISC function or a well-regarded management consultancy in a project delivery role related to ISC digital. Knowledge of ERP/Enterprise Business Applications modernization and transformation, Application Portfolio Optimization, Program Assurance and Oversight.
