Changing the age-old story starts with you - let's get you hired. We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineering Intern to join our team. The intern will assist in the development and optimization of our data pipeline architecture, as well as data collection, storage and analytics processes. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data engineering and contribute to the management of data flow for cross-functional teams. You will be a member of the Lifespark Data Engineering & Analytics team to assist with project work across multiple functions and initiatives. The position will work closely with technology team members and internal business partners to understand business problems and needs, clarify solution requirements, analyze sophisticated healthcare data, and produce/present insights to senior business leaders to help inform strategic decisions of the company. Areas of focus include but are not limited to Data Management (extraction, ingestion, transformation, and modeling), Health & Economic Outcomes of patients, Clinical Operations, Sales & Marketing, Revenue Cycle Management, and New Product/Service Development. Requirements 3.0 or above GPA Current enrollment in, or recent graduate of, a 4-year accredited academic institution Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team setting, with individuals having diverse professional backgrounds including business, technical, and/or clinical.
