Center For Diagnostic Imaging CT Technologist in St. Louis Park, Minnesota

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a CT/C-arm Technologist to join our flex team. As a Flex CT/C-arm Tech, you'll travel to our outpatient centers in the Twin Cities (near you) working with a variety of team members, Radiologists, and equipment to grow your skillset. Willing to train if CT is a modality you're interested in learning. This is a fulltime position (option for part-time 30-39 hours per week, benefit eligible) working Monday-Friday day shifts traveling to centers in the Twin Cities (near you), includes weekend rotation (no call). Differential pay and mileage offered for this role! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (80%) Patient Imaging Performs routine and advanced CT procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination Prepares patients for CT or diagnostic and therapeutic injection (DTI) procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned and providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure Produces diagnostic images in assigned area and performs quality control tasks as assigned Adjusts scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate Converses with doctors, nurses, patients and family members as required. Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers Maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and other associates and peers Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS) Maintains an orderly and clean work area to promote good safety habits for patients and co-workers Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements (15%) Imaging Support Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use Assists in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual Monitors medical supply inventory Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise (5%) Performs other tasks as assigned Required: ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independently Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance Preferred: CT Certification Bilingual RAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence in communities across the U.S., driven by our passion for and superior service to referring providers and patients.
