HDR is currently looking for a Transportation BIM Intern to join our growing team of transportation professionals. Responsibilities In the role of BIM Specialist/Designer Intern, we'll count on you to: Complete tasks under the direct supervision of an engineer or Project Manager in our Saint Louis Park office. Develop drawings using CADD for preliminary and final designs. Perform basic quantity and geometry calculations while working with a team of Engineers and other designers on various roadway, airfield, or site design projects. Develop detail sheets and plan sets. The individual should be enrolled in 2-year civil engineering technology program or similar. Preferred Qualifications Strong interest in roadway design or transit Strong interest in use of CADD for design development, and construction documents A desire to use technical and engineering knowledge to solve problems Knowledge of MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil3D. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
