Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Gastroenterology team! Position Summary: Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing, diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and Park Nicollet Health Services policy. Accountability for the quality of care delivered, recognizing the limits of knowledge and experience; addressing situations beyond the nurse's competency; and performing to the level of education, knowledge, and skill ordinarily expected of an individual who has completed an approved professional nursing education program. Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skill and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights. Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment of care and advocates for the best interests of individual patients. Resolves concerns or complaints regarding patient care or service. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday. 4 days a week. Hybrid remote Required Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing Associate degree or diploma required Maintain a current Minnesota registered nurse's licensure. WI licensure required where applicable. Current BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines No online only courses accepted. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development necessary to provide appropriate care to the patient population served and ensure safety of patients.
