We are seeking an experienced QC Scientist with specific experience in pharmaceutical QC testing and method validation. The primary focus of this role is on HPLC methods using various detectors, though other instrumentation or methods may be involved as needed. This role will center on projects working in Empower, setting up parameters, flow rates, and assay values, and will also serve as a back-up to the QC lab for Finished Product Testing. The successful candidate will review existing procedures against FDA requirements, make necessary improvements or revisions, and fill in any gaps. They will also write up protocols, execute them, and prepare validation reports.
Responsibilities
Focus on projects working in Empower, setting up parameters, flow rates, and assay values.
Serve as a back-up to the QC lab for Finished Product Testing.

Essential Skills
Experience in pharmaceutical QC testing and method validation.
Proficiency in HPLC methods and various detectors.
Ability to work with the Empower software system to build methods, set up parameters, adjust flow rates, and calculate assay values.
Strong analytical skills.
Experience with FDA documentation and technical writing.
Experience in a GMP environment.
Pharmaceutical validation expertise.
Quality control and assurance knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of pharmaceutical Quality Control HPLC/Chemistry experience.
Drug or pharmaceutical GMP experience.
HPLC Method Validation experience.
Method development experience is a plus.
Experience with Empower software.
Work Environment
You will work in the Quality building but may also interact in the plant. The Quality building is new, spacious, and offers a friendly and collaborative environment. The plant environment can be dusty and has an agricultural/farming smell. The role operates on a Monday - Friday schedule with a flexible start time between 7:00 - 8:30 AM. There may be occasional overtime based on business needs, but no more than 3-5 hours. The position offers 40 hours of PTO and 6 paid holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
