Description

We are on the search for a Systems Administrator to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will primarily be managing and maintaining our operating systems and Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage our operating systems ensuring they are updated and secure.

• Maintain and administer Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal performance and security.

• Troubleshoot any issues related to the operating system and Microsoft Azure.

• Implement system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

• Maintain system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning.

• Develop strategies for maintaining system infrastructure, including the implementation of system upgrades, patches, and new installations.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.

• Establish and maintain user accounts, profiles, file sharing, access privileges and security.

• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure that systems are being used according to guideline

Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Azure

• Comprehensive understanding of Operating Systems

• Proven experience in network administration and system maintenance

• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues

• Good communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience in maintaining security protocols and managing IT security systems

• Proven ability to manage and maintain servers and databases

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• Familiarity with cloud services and SaaS applications

• Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
