Aerotek Storeroom Attendant in St. Louis, Missouri

Job Title: Storeroom Attendant

Job Description

Monday – Friday, 8-5. Thirty-minute lunch, two 15-minute breaks: 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough cleaning of MRO storerooms, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

  • Organize inventory by categorizing items, labeling shelves, and ensuring proper storage practices.

  • Assist with implementing a systematic inventory management process, including tracking and reporting stock levels.

  • Collaborate with the team to understand their specific needs and preferences regarding storeroom organization.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while working on-site.

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive relationship with clients.

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of hand tools utilized in the construction of storeroom shelving units.

Hard Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in facilities management or inventory management is a plus.

  • Proven experience in cleaning, organizing, or facilities management, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and effectively.

  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 7 Week(s).

Work Environment

Stock room with parts in a food manufacturing plant.
