KTVI FOX 2 & St. Louis 11 are the sources for local news, weather, and sports, and has an extensive portfolio of digital advertising options designed to drive measurable results for advertisers. We have an immediate opening for a very detail-oriented, motivated, multi-tasking individual to be our next Sales Promotions and Events Manager. We are seeking a results-driven individual to lead our promotional and sponsorship initiatives across various media platforms. This role will focus on developing and executing creative sales promotions that drive revenue, enhance brand visibility, and engage our audience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement promotional campaigns that align with our sales objectives and brand identity.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for promotions and create strategies to capitalize on them.

  • Analyze market trends and audience insights to inform promotional planning and execution.

  • Manage budgets for promotional activities, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

  • Oversee the execution of promotions, coordinating with marketing, creative services, engineering, newsroom, and digital teams.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their promotional needs are met.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends to identify new promotional opportunities.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in media sales, promotions, or marketing.

  • Strong understanding of various media platforms and their advertising potential.

  • Proven track record of successful promotional campaign development and execution.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Author and present project concepts internally and externally with clients.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.

  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
