As an EWS Implementation Engineer you will be a trusted leader in implementing new technology and creating innovative solutions as part of our transformational client enablement strategy. This position will serve as the clients' champion and work with key business and technology stakeholders to provide requirements for complex customer delivery projects.

What you'll do

  • The EWS Implementations team is responsible for client onboarding and activation of contracted services for solutions that create efficiencies and reduce risk in employer HR and payroll organizations. We do this by driving clients through the onboarding experience, ensuring resource alignment and technical requirements are met and coordinating Go-Live activities.

    The Implementations Team in Workforce Solutions is looking for a highly skilled Implementation Engineer to develop everything from planning to full delivery and success of our platform migration goals. Over the lifecycle of an initiative the Implementation Engineer will lead framing activities (shaping strategy, identifying workstreams, defining roles and responsibilities, establishing metrics and outcomes etc.) lead execution (engage with BU's, IT, finance, operations, sales etc.) and drive transparency, visibility and accountability. This resource must be a trusted advocate for various services impacted by client change, and manage multiple moving parts with other team members to ensure a smooth transition and roll out.

    The Implementation Engineer is a catalyst for change. They are persuasive, credible, and polished with a strong track record of achieving business results and desired outcomes to ensure extreme client satisfaction. This resource is at the helm of a project and ensures other SME's and accountable resources are on board, and on track to complete a project or initiative successfully and on time.

  • Understand and translate business requirements into solutions
    • Identify industry best practices and recommend project updates or changes as needed to ensure project success
  • Drive execution and strategy of the project, which spans across multiple platforms and solutions
    • Monitor and communicate project measures of success, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and senior level management
    • Ensure project deliverables align to the project's desired outcome and supports client initiatives and strategies
  • Direct resources, stakeholders and deliverables aligned across multiple interdependent areas within a client engagement
  • Guide initiatives to empower operations through the cultivation and advancement of technical proficiencies essential for promoting increased independence from the Technology team. This may require a focus on areas such as SQL, Python, OAuth, RESTful APIs, and more
  • Act as transfer agent at delivery from customer to fulfillment

What experience you need

  • Proficiency with SaaS based solutions
  • Previous experience with implementing API solutions
  • Strong presentation skills; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders
  • Work effectively and cooperatively with senior management, customers, co-workers and vendors
  • Experience engaging directly with Senior Leadership
  • Ability to work in an unstructured, flexible environment with shifting requirements
  • Superior program management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytic capabilities
