Actalent Entry Level Clinical Research Coordinator in St. Louis, Missouri

Job Description

This position involves working with leading oncology physicians, specifically on the lymphoma research team. The role includes collaboration with physicians, clinical research study teams, and the oncology clinic team. Responsibilities are split between data coordination and clinical coordination initially, transitioning to full clinical coordination. The role involves direct interaction with patients in the clinic and work in the research office.

Responsibilities

  • Screen and enroll patients into research studies.

  • Read and understand study protocols.

  • Report significant adverse events (SAEs).

  • Check lab values and assess drug dosages and modifications.

  • Ship samples to labs and prepare laboratory kits.

  • Find and enter data into the research system.

  • Work on existing trials and assist with new trials.

Essential Skills

  • Clinical research experience.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Customer service orientation.

  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.

  • Knowledge of oncology and clinical trials.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and ensure compliance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Clinical research is not required but experience in a related field is necessary (e.g., medical assisting, respiratory therapy, athletic training).

  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree and a clinical research fast track certification will be considered.

  • Go-getter attitude, highly organized, able to handle high-stress/fast-paced workload.

  • Ability to prioritize efficiently, positive personality, team player.

  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and willingness to ask for help.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $29.00
