Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

The Controls Engineer will use analytical skills to examine and improve processes or increase productivity. They will troubleshoot issues with hardware and processes, plan preventative maintenance, and assist in implementing predictive maintenance plans. Additionally, they will analyze plant processes to enhance their expertise in electronics, engineering, and mechanics.

Responsibilities

  • Examine and improve processes to increase productivity

  • Analyze plant processes to enhance expertise in electronics, engineering, and mechanics

Essential Skills

  • Experience with SCADA

  • Proficiency in at least one PLC language (Allen-Bradley)

  • Developing industrial automation system architectures

  • Robotics

  • HMI

  • AutoCAD

  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical degree

  • 2+ years of experience with SCADA

Work Environment

Office setting, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel is required up to 10% of the time, with trips lasting up to 4 nights.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
