Job Title:

Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description:

Summary:

This position will perform intermediate level routine clerical accounting duties. Handle all aspects of Accounts Payable and employee expense reimbursement for the Company and account reconciliations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coding and entering all approved invoices into the Accounts Payable system.

  • Responsible for running the Accounts Payable system at least once a week to pay weekly invoices.

  • Process employee expense reimbursement through Concur weekly. Keeping track of and reconciling certain expenses.

  • W9 and 1099 year end reporting.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Good organizational skills

  • Very detail oriented

  • Able to take direction well and work independently

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients (internal and external)

  • Ability to prioritize

  • Ability to rapidly acquire working understanding of basic accounting practices

  • Demonstrate flexibility, versatility, commitment and good judgment

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Education and/or Experience:

  • Two to three years related experience and/or training

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Computer and Software Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Adobe Reader.

  • Strong experience with core financial systems including AP and GL.

  • Bankway

  • Salesforce

  • Sendero Accounts Payable

  • BNA Fixed Assets
