Job Description

Role Purpose:

  • Oversee monthly deliverables timetable covering AP, AR, Cost Management and Client Accounting duties

  • Ensure client requirements and quality procedures are followed

  • Support Regional Finance Manager with client reporting

  • Drive automation of routine tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce month end reporting for client in agreed formats on all financial activities on the portfolio of properties managed

  • Production of annual budget and monthly forecast

  • Variance reporting on actual vs budget/forecast

  • Monthly review and sign off of bank reconciliations

  • Oversee monthly deliverables timetable to ensure delivery dates are met across AP, AR, Cost Management and Client Accounting

  • Sales Tax reporting

  • Withholding Tax monitoring and reporting

  • Provide audit support for Annual SOC Audit

  • Review and sign off monthly governance pack with internal stakeholders

  • Assist Regional Finance Manager with any ad-hoc requirements

  • Attend client meetings

Required Technical Experience:

  • Newly Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant

  • Experience of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and requirements for the region.

  • Awareness of all basic property accounting concepts

  • Knowledge of IFRS16

  • IT literate – Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel – minimum level to include Pivots and advances formulae

  • Confidence to interact and deal with stakeholders at all levels

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

  • Results/deadline orientated with the emphasis on accuracy and quality
