CUSTODIAN - TEMPORARY/ PART-TIME

• $14.44/ Hour
• This is a part-time/temporary position working a maximum of 1,000 hours per calendar year. There are no benefits.

DUTIES:

• Performs all custodial duties for County offices. 

• Performs minor maintenance tasks, including snow removal, lamp replacement, and minor plumbing. 

• Maintains the cleanliness of County facilities including surfaces, windows, woodwork, furniture and lavatories.

• Operates and maintains custodial equipment. 

• Responsible for the stocking and inventory of all custodial supplies.

• Secures and monitors the facilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent and two to three years of experience in custodial services and a minimum of one year in building maintenance.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• A valid Michigan driver's license.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.

NECESSARY SKILLS:

• Self-starter.

• Capable of performing tasks with limited supervision.
