Responsibilities

Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan, opened in 2017 as a beautiful and state of the art 54-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. As part of our success and innovation in the field we are seeking qualified applicants for a Housekeeping position.

Position Description:

This position exists to clean, sanitize, and maintain any and all Hospital areas in order to provide an efficient, safe, sanitary, attractive, and orderly facility. Housekeeping aides work very close with both the maintenance and clinical departments in their daily routines.

Hours:

Flexible Per Diem or On Call schedule. This role does not have a set minimum of hours, so an applicant looking for flexiblity is a great fit.

Qualifications

Housekeeper Job Requirements:

High School graduate preferred

On the job training provided, but experience in housekeeping preferred

Must be able to safely walk, stand and accomplish cleaning tasks for the length of the shift with appropriate breaks as needed

Must be able to lift or carry heavy objects (up to 40 lbs.), push or pull heavy objects, such as while handling dirty and clean linen, supplies, and/or garbage, moving furniture
