General Production & Assembly Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assemble parts, load and offload paint line parts, and utilize small power tools. The assembler will also assist with cleaning, organizing, and moving small parts on wheeled carts. This role requires the ability to read tape measures in 1/16" and 1/32" increments, perform basic arithmetic operations, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts and load/offload paint line parts

  • Utilize small power tools such as drills, electric screwdrivers, and staple guns

  • Assist with cleaning, mopping, and organizing the work area

  • Move small parts on wheeled carts

  • Read tape measures using 1/16" and 1/32" increments

  • Perform basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

  • Work in different areas of the shop including Deck Support, Rail, and Deck Assembly cells

Essential Skills

  • Experience with small power tools (drills, electric screwdrivers, staple guns)

  • Ability to read tape measures using 1/16" and 1/32" increments

  • Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

  • High school diploma or GED, or 3 months of related experience/training

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Work Environment

Our traditional manufacturing shop environment houses up to 100 employees. The shop is clean, structured into cells where the structure is assembled in sections, and the noise level is moderate. You may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles as part of the job. We are an industry leader in manufacturing telescopic seating.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.64 - $16.64
