Material Handler

 Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $19.50 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Material Handler:

• Picks up and delivers raw materials, work in process inventory, and packaging supplies to and from the presses and shipping areas.

• Loads Coils at presses, disposes of scrap metal, identifies materials to proper location in inventory.

• Performs necessary identification and inventory paperwork.

• Conducts pre-shift maintenance checks of designated forklift equipment and associated record keeping.

• Must be able to plan for movement of needed parts and material for production.

• Keeps all material and products near and in an organized manner.

• Assists production operator with timely delivery of products and containers, as needed.

• Semi-Skilled job involving the movement of materials and scrap metal removal

• Other duties may be assigned 

Available shifts:

 Shift Timings - 2nd shift (Evening)

2nd Shift (M-Th; 3.00 PM-1.00AM

Job requirements:

• Physical requirements include the ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach and lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to work on your feet for 10hr shifts and complete assigned tasks on schedule

• Basic math skills, ability to read measurements, reading and writing skills needed

• Proven good attendance

• Cleanliness and neatness of assigned areas, continued improvement in overall performance

• Cooperation, responsiveness, dependability and proper attitude in dealing with others

• Conformance to company personnel, safety, quality and housekeeping policies, procedures, practices, and work instructions

• Requires 6months of Material Handling or Forklift experience
