Summary

The ATS Marketing team is seeking a Graphic Designer to help us present our company's brand and image to the world! You'll help carve the company's international footprint, drive new business, and create next-generation marketing strategies to promote one of the finest combinations of people and horsepower in the industry.

TheGraphic Designeris responsible for creating visual concepts and design solutions with high visual impact to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, captivate, and compel the preferred audience to work with or for ATS. This primarily includes designing visual elements for all formats (digital and traditional), providing layout support, creating website video and social graphic content, uploading/managing website content, and occasional writing.

This is NOT a remote position. This role works in office, at our St. Cloud, Minnesota headquarters.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Graphic Design; and at least two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the industry.

  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft 365 Suite is required.

  • Functional understanding and experience working within web hosting platforms are a plus.

  • Ability to anticipate and understand various target audiences' needs and preferences and create compelling and unique creative that appeals to those audiences.

  • Ability to take direction on design, brand, and style characteristics needed to position the ATS brand.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting aggressive deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to establish relationships, trust, and rapport with all levels of staff.

  • Ability to perform effectively under limited guidance and assistance from functional leadership.

  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to identify and proactively resolve problems.

  • Ability to receive feedback and adjust to changing priorities and editorial decisions.

  • Must possess a strong work ethic, and ability to self-start, stay on task, and shift priorities as needed.

  • Must demonstrate a proactive commitment to ATS corporate values and the success of all staff.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, listening, and verbal).

  • Willing and able to travel infrequently, including overnight travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • While following all corporate branding guidelines, work on design projects for different media, including print, digital, video, web, trade show and event marketing, and corporate branding.

  • Design effective page layouts and correct drafts as needed.

  • Provide general print and digital design and production as assigned.

  • Create collateral for multiple diverse operating groups.

  • Retouch images and assist with video editing as needed.

  • Amend final designs based on internal customer feedback; positively accept feedback and make edits as needed.

  • Photograph corporate employees, events, department gatherings, and special events as needed.

  • Prepare business presentations – meeting internal customer expectations.

  • Prepare, export, and share files for prepress and digital use.

  • Plan and execute multiplatform digital marketing campaigns.

  • Plan and run conversion testing and other experiments.

  • Generate premium content and promotions, including eBooks, videos, case studies, white papers, webinars, etc.

  • Report on key results, and other predetermined KPIs regularly, such as content downloads, lead generation, revenue attribution, etc.

  • Provide design support in efforts to maintain and improve website performance (i.e. run regular analytics & performance tests, collaborate on efforts to address performance improvements)

  • Turn raw data on the performance of past content into insights.

  • Partner with functional leadership to create and maintain scheduling and prioritization of work.

  • Partner with members of the marketing team, to organize and maintain creative servers and shared databases of digital assets.

  • Stay current on transportation industry trends and best practices.

  • Understands and consistently performs in accordance with ATS's Mission, Vision, and Values.

  • Complete work responsibilities outside of normal business hours as needed and infrequent travel may be required.
